To amplifier your acoustic guitar without the fear of feedback, it's worth covering the sound hole. The Ibanez ISC1 is designed for exactly this and, while this form fitting soft-rubber disc measures 11cm in diameter, it can be easily fitted to sound holes with a diameter of 10cm to 10.2cm to deaden any possible feedback while retaining the natural acoustic sound of the guitar.

Werkt fantastisch als geluidsdemping! Ik woon in een klein een-kamer studio appartement, en ik kan nu eindelijk ongehinderd oefenen/spelen op mijn gitaar zonder mij zorgen te maken over de geluidsoverlast. Haalt een enorm gedeelte van het volume weg zonder het geluid lelijk te veranderen. Voorheen hield ik ongemerkt rekening qua speelwijze met mijn omgeving, nu hoeft dat niet meer en dat is fijner en beter voor het leerproces.
De cover doet precies wat het adverteert, het dempt het geluid van een Western gitaar. Op de productpagina staat dat het handig is tegen feedback, maar ik gebruik het als een mute om makkelijker met muziek mee te kunnen spelen. De cover is makkelijk te bevestigen, maar je moet wel even checken of alle vinnen er goed ingedrukt zijn en niet dubbelgeslagen tegen de rand zitten.
